End of the year will be a volatile period, especially so many tension between the countries and we have US election. Since property market isn't suitable at the moment, but by slim chance you may be able to buy distress housing. Buy gold at this period will be ideal, get the physical one and keep in the bank. Wait for the crisis to get over with and you can re-explore your investment portfolio

I also go with gold. Oil also another good factor to look at, especially now the situation between USA and Russian is pretty tense. If Johor Bahur going for separation, oil and gold will also be affect a little too.

Call your bank for appointment, don't queue up over the counter, they will invite you to VIP room when you are buying something.

Paper is my choice. At least for now we are in the safe world, paper investment cut down a lot of logistic fee including processing, security, insurance, clearance, permits and so on.

The best return will be paper investment, until when you feel there are danger, convert it to something tangible.

By the time danger arises you will not have the priority to be able to cash out.

In fact 99% of your investment (even insurance) are all paper money.
