How Do I Generate More Sales For My Retail Business?
#1
I have a retail business selling clothes in AMK. There is 5 sales girl doing shift and I will stand in when anyone is not able to work. We work from 10am - 10pm. My store have certain profit but it is as good as doing an office job. Economy have gone down and my profit also declined. How do I generate more sales for my stall? Welcome any ideas. Thanks.

First you have to identify if your fashion what the consumer wants, if so are your exposure doing correctly? If your fashion isn't what the consumer looking for, how can you market and educate them this is the trend?

If you continue to increase your exposure to the wrong crowd, you are wasting money. If you are spending effort and resources educating people that already want to buy, it may reverse the effort and make your spend unnecessary resource.

A suggestion is to take your shop offline, minimise all your overheads and start going mobile. Price is a very strategic move to play now. You should store all your existing stock in your house and look for road shows and flea market. Sell as much as possible there and make some good money. Rework your cost so you charge reasonably without make losses.

You have to be firm in shutting down your business. Get a novation for your existing rent and be assertive when firing your girls. Shut down your business if necessary and register a sole proprietary.

Hope it helps.
