Property's Cooling Measure

Many 'experts' are speculating the end of cooling measure year after year. Every year they were wrong and continue to 'predict' it for the next year. Well, if they stop that, they will be wrong forever.

We should never trust these 'experts' who never seen and been in the market. They get their hunch through lagging news and tossing of coins. By the time a news is surface, it means something already happened and that is why it is being reported.

Instead of useless prediction, we should work on improving our service standard and professional level to keep up with the government policies. Similar to when COE was implemented, car sales dropped significantly. When ERP gantry was erected, many tend of avoid the certain roads at certain time. Look at what happen now, seasoned consumer naturally factor in COE and ERP without even thinking. Soon, stamp duty will be part and parcel of our life, whether it is lifted or not.

The key point here is not to ponder how or when cooling measure will be lifted, the focus is how do we can continue to uphold the market and increase our sales even in this season.

Yes, you are right about the cooling measure. Economy is like a butterfly effect, it takes something to affect everything. Not everyone realise that, including the government.

Even it is here for 3 years, people still don't understand they should preserve their capital and not to make any hasty purchase. Indeed Singapore's real estate is one of the most solid market, deducting all the fees and taxes, people who brought houses during this period will still be the loser.

I believe our market is cool enough, if not HDB would not advertise their 3-room flat to be cost as low as $100,000. It could be a time where HDB demand also dropped.
