Setting up SSL on your Linux (Debian and Redhat Distro)
If you have problem setting up your SSL, even you have configured your apache2.conf, correctly set all your virtual hosts, have your firewall bypassed but the website just keep on failing when you type https. It may be due the following settings not set:

sudo a2ensite default-ssl
sudo a2enmod ssl

It is common when you can access http page but not the https page.

Try the command above and see if it works.
Why do you need to set up manual SSL? Are you doing shell hosting?
Hi, SSL need to have issuer, which issuer are you using?
